Hidden in the undulating hills of Wandin, Victoria is one of the first homesteads, Mont De Lancey, settled by the Sebire family. Along with the Rougets and Gaudions, the Sebires were one of the original French settlers in the Yarra Valley.

Leon and Rita Tokar
have long been passionate cooks, both for their own family and friends, and for friends of their friends, often envisioning owning and running a Restaurant of their very own creation one day. Their dream was finally realised when, on a glorious summers day in January 2003 they opened Tokar Estate Restaurant; bringing an exotic feel to the picturesque Yarra Valley by introducing a slice of the Mediterranean to region. With the Restaurant dishing up stylish cuisine peppered with strong Mediterranean influences, and a fabulous outdoor decking and dining area overlooking the stunning surrounding vineyards, Valley and exquisite skyline; one could certainly imagine themselves to be far off in an exotic overseas location, as they sample sumptuous dishes and sip perfectly matched wines, such as our award winning Spanish Tempranillo.
Internationally acclaimed Chef, Mathew Hart now leads the Tokar Estate Kitchen team to new heights. With over ten years of experience and success, and with the passion to continue the tradition of their first restaurant, e lounge, co-owners Bart Crescia and Rod Micallef have brought their highly regarded and prize winning authentic Italian pizzas to this Australian culinary hotspot.

Award winning micro brewery, Hargreaves Hill Brewing Company
opened its bar and restaurant in the 1880s Commercial bank building in Yarra Glen in late 2007. The restaurant offers lunch, as well as a sumptuous dinner menu from Wednesday to Saturday, and breakfast, morning and afternoon tea on weekends and public holidays.
Tasting boats are available of six of the brewery's ales, as well as an eclectic winelist, and a tantalising international beer list.
The restaurant features intimate private dining rooms, each with their own open fireplace, perfect for small conferences, family gatherings, and other special events.
